UCFV is a fully accredited, public university-college that serves over 10,000 students. UCFV offers university transfer programs and 12 bachelor's degree programs. In 2005, UCFV began offering Canada's first applied Master of Arts in Criminal Justice. In addition to the degree programs UCFV offers more than 70 programs in applied and academic areas. These include career and technical training in areas ranging from agriculture and aviation to nursing and applied business technology. Trades training, English as a second language, and college & career preparation programs are available. UCFV offers many courses online each semester and has an active Co-operative Education program and an International Education department.

FACILITY/SERVICE HIGHLIGHTS: UCFV serves residents of the central and upper Fraser Valley. It has campuses in Abbotsford, Chilliwack, and Mission, and regional centres in Hope and Agassiz. A full range of on-campus student support services are available. A new state-of-art athletic centre will open on the Abbotsford campus in autumn 2006 when UCFV's top-ranked sports teams enter the Canadian Interuniversity Sports league. On-campus residences will be opened in Abbotsford in autumn 2007.
