Transfer Credit Appeals in BC Post-Secondary Institutions (Special Report)
This Special Report describes policy and process steps related to the ability of students to appeal credit transfer decisions in BC Transfer System institutions. The document was developed in consultation with a representative working group drawing members from diverse BC post-secondary institutions. It presents key observations of the Working Group and the constituent groups it consulted and suggests possible process and policy steps that might improve students' ability to access a transfer credit appeal process within institutions.
Although appeals policy is exclusively within the purview of autonomous institutions, system partners have identified issues in this area that impact student planning and access.
